Can't really comment on the looks of MM skills since i just returned to maple, but I have been playing my BM. For single targets i think BM skills are pretty cool. You have your rapid fire turret that you set up and then you can also choose to spam hurricane for 10000000000 arrows flying into your enemies' face. The new Phoenix animation is way better too.

Go with your heart my son. (I am just a lazy uninformed bastard who couldn't care less about the minute differences between classes)

Both of your points (looks/fun) are subjective, varying from person to person because we all have different opinions. Ask me which class I think looks cool, I'd say Mihile though most people would disagree with me. Anywho, we'll take your points and stretch them out a bit (this is all solely based off fourth job):" -Anonymous

Marksman:
Attack: Snipe and Piercing Arrow are your main moves in your 4th job (their golden luminance looks amazing IMO) and yields high damage. One important trick to use is to macro your piercing arrow with hookshot so that as soon as you launch, you let loose a piercing arrow. This is very useful in clearing mobs and damaging bosses as well as avoiding incoming attacks, and its unique only to the marksman class.

Defense: Aggressive resistance WILL keep you safe from 1/1s and will create a blue shield similar to the mercedes water bubble. However, don't rely on it too much, as you'll be using hookshot and double jump more to get out of trouble.Illusion arrow is the new puppet, but IMO is not that useful. The drawing of mobs is nice and all, but the cast time is bit longer than what is comfortable. It will most likely be the skill where you use when you remember to use it (although if you need to keep mobs at bay, this is great)

Playstyle
Range is your best friend, but your worst enemy. Why?
Depending on your range, I've seen my damage almost double in some occasions and when the boss is alone in a 1v1 situation, marksmen shine the brightest.
HOWEVER, your main 1v1 skill snipe has a really short range. Tis a terrible monstrosity that I wish nexon would correct but alas, I guess they didn't want the class to be too OP. If snipe got the range of piercing arrow, then that would be a dream come true.

If you've played Yggdra Union, the 1v1 = must die events seem to trigger with marksman and you can visibly see significant damage increase when the target is alone. I think this little perk is great!

Bowmusterds I can't really comment too much. I switched my 200 MM to a BM for fun when the coins were given out, and I guess they are more versatile and damage increase is stable (since their skills gives ATT + instead of Max Crit +). Arrow turret is pretty nice to keep mobs at bay/help you with bosses and the red arrows are pretty. Their mobbing is decent and 1v1 is great too, although the lack of 1/1 protection irks me a bit. But in return, they have blood arrows that can absorb HP in exchange for lower damage output.
In the end, I switched back to my MM.

Both classes are equally unique, and you can change whenever you want if you get bored (if you have enough money).

Well MM do some serious dmg with snipe with almost no funds. With just 100k range im doing 15-22m to bosses per snipe.
Also pierce and bolt can clear the mobs very fast when you are training. The only bad about this class and BM, is that you will be pushed from any monster or attack, since we dont have stance, and since we are a class that depends on distance this is a serious problem when you are bossing.

Also many says that the fact that we cant boss well until you get no CD snipe (lv 155) is a bad point for MM, but anyways you cant do much bossing before 160 on many classes, until you maxed all your usefull skills.

Both of your points (looks/fun) are subjective, varying from person to person because we all have different opinions. Ask me which class I think looks cool, I'd say Mihile though most people would disagree with me. Anywho, we'll take your points and stretch them out a bit (this is all solely based off fourth job):

Skills (what you'll be using)
Marksman: You'll primarily be using Piercing Arrow and Snipe post fourth job. Both are yellow (and a bit bland in my opinion) and do very good damage for anyone unfunded. You'll have to be good at control if you want to optimize damage because of the specialized skill (closer means critical raise, farther means damage raise). On the defensive side, your third job Aggressive Resistance and fourth job Arrow Illusion (puppet) helps you take little to no damage as long as you continue to attack (and both are primarily blue).
Bow Master: You have an array of skills, ranging from Arrow Blaster and Turret, Hurricane, Arrow Stream, Binding Shot, and Quiver Cartridge (Blaster and Hurricane are red, Stream and Shot are blue, Cartridge varies). For mobbing, Arrow Stream and Arrow Turret will be your best choice, while for bossing, you will want to go with Arrow Turret and Hurricane (only use blaster if target is angled) with the occasional Binding Shot to slow/decrease heal amount. For defense, Quiver Cartridge (only heal and poison) will work with Arrow Turret so you can constantly be healing yourself even when you're not directly attacking.

Playstyle
Marksman: As mentioned before, it requires a bit more effort to optimize damage because of the range factors. However, they are strong but terrible at bossing till Snipe has its no cooldown hyper.
Bow Master: You'll do great in a lot of situations since Bow Masters no longer have to worry too much about mobbing (our main mobbing skill pre-RED was capped at 4 mobs). When it comes down to Damage Reflect, however, we stink. If you enjoy going on Hilla, Crimson Queen, Madman Ranmaru, and et cetera, you'll be having a bit more trouble because Arrow Turret CAN trigger damage reflect. The best uses are only on bosses like Gollux, where Turret can be left on one side to both heal and attack the incoming mobs.

Honestly, I've enjoyed both classes. I can't pick one over the other because they're really that fun. As a Bowman, I can tell you that you can't go wrong with your choice. Marksman might be a bit bland till the mid 150s and Bow Master might be weak overall, but it's they're playstyles that make them so unique.
I think I'll go with BM cause I hate how MMs hold their crossbow.
