Basil Cafe, Coffee Time

I just started school last week and while I managed to stay awake the first week, this week I've been dozing off. I haven't drank coffee in months but tomorrow I'll get back to drinking this wonderful beverage.

With that said...what coffee do you usually drink? How do you take it? What brand, from where (Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts, etc.)?
Tell me everything, I have to know.

Coffee snobs and coffee newbs are welcomed.

Everyday at school I buy a cup coffee for 0,75 or at mcdonald for 1,-. I could remeber how much coffee I drank during my internship. Tasted like sewer water but I had to stay awake from doing my work.

I buy beans from a local third-wave ("specialty coffee" ) cafe. This particular place is relatively new to the game, so their single-origin offerings are different practically every time I go there. Not complaining; it gets me to try stuff I might otherwise pass up for a regular staple. I have a bag of honey process Costa Rica right now that has really strong raisin notes, which is awesome.

I brew in a Chemex and drink it black.

I drink a large double double from Tim Hortons every day, I also use coffee for my pre-workout if I'm feeling tired.

I have a Keurig as well which is aiight if I'm being lazy.

OT: i don't like the true taste of coffee and will probably never take it black
i prefer tea, but unless i need a real energy booster i'll settle for a coffee drink (latte, espresso) or milk+sugar the hell out of it
i only order coffee-based drinks from starbucks or local coffee shops. syrups from most chains and fast food places make my tummy hurt

if i drink coffee -
in a keurig - whatevers available
at home - super strong turkish coffee (like a tablespoon of coffee to a teaspoon (sometimes half a tsp) of splenda until the pot is full) usually w/the cheapest grounds i can find. i have a bag of bravo and a tin of TJ's dark roast. i had a cup of jamaican blue mountain before and it was so good but $$$$$$
not a big fan of sbux or any coffee shop, will usually just go for whatever.

unsalted butter or heavy cream (used to do half n half, but have switched) until it's a dark muddy/caramel color - if using cream its about a tablespoon

I'll drink whatever but I had peet's coffee today (a regular black coffee) and it messed me up, my arms just collapsed on me and I was jittery for like a good hour some two hours after I had the coffee? It was weird. It happened to me once before where my arms felt like they fell asleep after I had some of their coffee. Idk, I rarely get coffee from an actual coffee shop and usually coffee doesnt affect me much anyway, but something about that peet's coffee really works my system in a bad way lol

No coffee. It tires out my heart and burns my energy too fast. I had some kind of attack from it which made my heart beat heavily and made it impossible to breath.
