Lion Heart Castle Release Date: Known!
Hello everyone!
After some doing a bit of Nexon website browsing I came realized that there was no calendar for the month of February! Now as most Maplers may/may not know is that MapleStory calendars give a hint as to what the event or update for that month is going to be in their design. Now [i]why[/i] no calendar for this month? The answer was in the latest Maple Times that was released just the other night. Nexon is holding an event for Maplers to help create the calendars for the NEXT YEAR and they must fit the theme for each month. But what's this in June?

Exciting news isn't it? Though I have to admit I am a bit disappointed. This actually goes against an interview with Nexon staff that mentioned GMS would be getting the highly anticipated Maplestory: Chaos update this summer. Seems like we'll be getting the Lion Heart Castle instead.

they said on dev blog that guild revamp will be 1st>UA and lionheart>anniversury so ur wrong

Guys, if you want to be technical about the duration of the spring season....March 20 - June 20. It's possible for Nexon to release it at a later date ( for ex. like June) than the usual months of spring...but there is no confirmation that it will be in June. Patch or events are subject to change.

Lionheart isnt a big patch.. its just a few maps + mobs
Not true. It clearly states on nexon's website that lionheart castle will come in the spring. June is not spring. It will probably come out in april.
Maybe there will be a Lion Apocolypse?

I thought the lions would allude to the whole Greece area that's going to end up being released.

meh look at may in the dev blog they said it woud be one big patch and the anniversary would be included in it and the anniversary is in may so date still unconfirmed

Nexon said themselves that it WILL be released in Spring.
The reason the lions are NOT in the spring months is because those are taken up by April Fools, Easter, and the 6th Anniversairy.
Obviously, they need a theme for each month, and nothing REALLY important happens in June (Other than end of school), so they pushed the Lions there.

The maple aniversary is going to be in May thus: "May: 6 years together"
This Lion Heart Castle is hopefully the answer to all the high level players prayers regarding training. All of the monster in the Castle have an insane amount of HP, but also give a high amount of exp. Also, and maybe even more importantly, there is a HUGE party exp bonus for parties of six. I'm not sure about the actual % increase from training this way, but Spadow mentioned 250% bonus in the test server (can't actually believe it's that high in the live server)

The monsters + npcs are for the patch after that. The patch happens to be called Van Lion Heart's Castle or something

Lion Heart comes out a few months before Chaos. It has nothing to do with the Chaos patch. It's just a new training area for 130+
There's also the posibility that they didn't know what else to put for June and just put lions there. Lions may have been on their minds because it's so close to spring.... o-o
There's nothing really special about the month of June, except for the end of school or something (and that's nothing to be happy about since it just means your life's going to get harder the next year). It's kind of sad.

I agree, because they DID say spring. Maybe they have June as lions because it came out in late may, and they are just celebrating it in the next month.
Maybe the Lion could be a lion event?
That's what they told us, but it doesn't seem it's going to be that way judging from the calendars. Wouldn't be the first time the Nexon told us one thing and did another.
