Wait so overall NW should be better at bossing since MOST of the "harder" bosses are 1v1s?
Some of them yes. But you also have to consider that for a lot of them you can't be just doing your stationary jump-attack. Actually moving around makes it a lot harder for NW to achieve their max DPS
@jmiah917: the difference in damage between 50m x 5 + 35m x 5 and 50m x 10 is quite large. Thats 75m damage per throw that NL's miss out on, and when you're doing roughly 2 throws in the span of a second it amounts to a massive loss of dps. While it is still possible to solo any boss on an NL that does max damage, it is much easier / faster to do so with a NW.
NW's are stronger than NL's regardless of jump attacking because NW's shadow partner can hit up to 50m while NL's gets capped at 35. They also have much higher damage over time than NL's.
I get what you're saying, But when you're SP is hitting 35m hits does it even matter anymore?
@turtleslaves do you know if this is accurate? some people in game have been saying that NL is stronger than NW, and I havent really been active so idk if there was a nerf.
I know that if a nw jump-attacks, they hit harder than nls. Not entirely sure about not jumping and attacking at the same time. Some of this has to do with the differences between nl's and nw's shadow partners too... I tried reading the southperry thread a while ago and ended up like this o.o
I'm almost certain NWs are stronger than NLs.
1v1 and if using the jump attack properly, yes.
But for any boss that has multiple attackable parts/anything other than a straight 1v1 fight, NL is better.
