You should ask your bestie that question, they should have a quest explaining what the goal is.
In my case my bestie was level 154 and the goal was to reach level 160.
The goal is probably just to reach the next multiple of 10.

@panflesca: I'm assuming that comes later because the event is called "Return of the FIREPOWER team-up" and that's not in the patch notes.
