Leafre Card Set
I'm trying to kill the mobs to drop the monster cards, but the ones in the Star Force areas aren't seeming to drop...
Does it have something to do with the Star Force areas?

For some people, the option doesn't appear to get the dragon moss extract from chief tamato

For me, I was never able to get monsters on starforce maps to drop their cards, but all Leafre cards can be obtained without the starforce maps. The only hard one to get is the Blood Harp card since the only non-starforce map they spawn in only has 2 mobs.
However, the prequest for DRPQ is glitched atm, so you can't complete the Leafre Codex set as of right now. Unless you already have the cards from DRPQ.

Starforce miner zombies, jr. cerberes, Cerberes, and Bain all drop cards.
In my experience, the Leafre starforce monsters haven't dropped a single codex card. Though I'm not sure about the dragon-type monsters as I haven't travelled that far for quite some time.
All the Clocktower Bottom Floor starforce monsters do drop their card; just finished that set on one of my characters. There are no normal versions of them.
I haven't seen non-star force versions of some monsters like Miner Zombies, Cerebes, and the clocktower enemies.
Starforce mobs do not drop codex cards at all. There is a non starforce map of every mob so you should be able still to complete it ^_^
Same thing happened to me. My guildies told me star force monsters don't drop cards.
But there is maps that don't have starforce for every monster in that codex. just check the map it's always right next to the starforced map
yeah.. this happened to me before, just avoid killing on star force areas and kill on normal maps instead!
star force monsters also drop monster card. maybe try getting during 2x with drop familiar
