It's a good book and an easy read. There's not many words per page.

I thought it was pretty good. o.o Read it all in one day.
The other two books are called the Red Pyramid and the Throne of Fire.
The two main protagonists are Carter and Sadie Kane. Their uncle Amos is the current Chief Lector (most powerful magician in the world) of Egypt.
Both of Carter and Sadie's parents are dead. Their father, Julius Kane is currently hosting Osiris's spirit.
The Red Pyramid is where they find out that they could do magic and are hosting gods. Carter is hosting Horus and Sadie is hosting Isis. However, the gods both leave their bodies by the end of the book. The antagonist is Set, god of evil, who is trying to take over the world.
In the Throne of Fire, they find out they need to revive Ra, god of the sun. But instead of being all-powerful, he's a senile old god.
In the Serpent's Shadow, Carter and Sadie have to join forces with a untrustworthy magician named Setne to fight Apophis, god of Chaos, Oh and one of Sadie's crushes, Walt Stone, is dying from a disease and they need to find a cure for it before he dies.

I think that's it.

Just read it. It's much more enjoyable than the books I read in middle school.

The book ur reading is the kane chronicles from rick riordan, the one that wrote percy jacson series.
Its a really good book and u will finish it less then a week. But i recommend that u start reading the first book.
