Nice update!
Nexon.net is Nexon's official domain. Download2.Nexon.net would mean it's Nexon's subdomain. A hacker/anyone who would want to do you harm would not be able to post here unless Nexon screws up.
Keep that in mind the next time you're unsure about a link ^^

Yeah, me too. I'm a major hoverer. I personally prefer it when people link to Nexon's download page (like I did up there) than to a direct download link. Instant confirmation.
I did have to click a few "virus" links to verify them in the past... Some of the stuff people try to spread on Basil is just plain nasty. NOD32 severely acted up a few times.

It's legit. [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/support/game-download]If you hover your mouse over the manual patcher download link you'll see the same URL[/url] except without the "Bye" and with some javascript thingie. Only Nexon America can use the nexon.net domain, so that's one major indicator. We generally go by the rule of thumb that every "official" link or site that doesn't belong to the nexon.net domain is fake.

I'd rather add these times to the patch thread MrBasil posted some time ago, but I can't edit threads made by other people. :S Wahhh, I still feel I messed up somewhere and I have to go to work now so I can't fix it.
