Quick Final Cut Question
Might be a dumb question, but does Final Cut do the same damage regardless if it's fully charged, or does it increase the longer you charge? Be cool to use it to combo with other skills and not worry about the damage

You must charge your Final Cut all the way to get the full damage boost. It may not be calculated into your actual range, but your actual damage output will reflect. Once the revamp gets put into Maplestory, charging Final Cut all the way will not be necessary anymore.
@powerguy121: Hmm thats weird, I tested it it and my damage didn't get boosted unless I held the bar to full. Maybe I should have released it a bit later so see a more definitive damage boost
@ronaldlu
Actually, there is a boost depending on how long you hold it. a full charge is 60% dmg whereas a half charge is 30% dmg. if you charged a quarter you'll see a 15% dmg boost.
Don't worry about it, it gets changed in the next patch or so. You can then do a full charge or just a flick and it will give the full buff <3
hmmm too lazy to prove against this, but I don't think it's true
I tested this, there was no damage boost when I didn't fully charge up
The damage of final cut itself needs to be charged to do max damage. The 60% damage buff needs to be fully charged to apply, even if you charged for 3/4 there won't be any damage boost (ie 45% damage boost). You need to charge it fully to get the effect of the skill
Can't exactly 'combo' it because of the cooldown, but yes. Dependent on how long you charge it, the damage boost will vary. Although in later patches, that is changed.
Pretty sure the charge determines the damage, but I can't remember as i don't use final cut too often
