Texting with an iPhone the quotreadquot message?
Hey guys, I was wondering something about the function on iPhones that tell the user whether or not their sent message has been read. Does this show up as well when texting non iPhones such as Androids, or is it only something that works between iPhones?
Sorry if I'm not being too clear, I wasn't really sure what to call the function haha. All help is appreciated

Alright, thanks for the info guys!
It is a iMessage feature.
So you can only see that when there is a blue bubble.
And that only works with iPhone, iTouch (3rd gen+), iPad, iPad mini since they all have the messenger app (if they are on iOS 5.0.0+ ).
Also the other user can turn that feature off so you will never know if they read it.
I'm going through my texts on my iPhone and it seems like only messages between iPhones (I think it's just called iMessages if it's between two iphones) will show when someone read or sent the LAST text in the conversation
