I got the ign Quality during the name wipe event. How much could I sell that puppy for?

Having a 4 letter ign doesn't make you pro; it's what the player does with the character that matters. If anything, it only makes it more difficult to search for that player which would cause them to be even less well-known than if they had a unique name to begin with, thereby completely defeating the purpose of having one of these expensive names. Even if it did work the way you think it does, and having a name such as "Wind" or "Luck" somehow made you popular, you're still only able to do so because of the recent name wipe. Why would you want a name that was never yours to begin with? What's the purpose of it all?
You're making the same mistake as a beginner guitarist thinking that having an expensive guitar will all of a sudden make him as good or famous as Jimi Hendrix. It just doesn't work that way.

@terrorface: i have seen complete accounts for sale. With lvl 200 complete with RA, Sup Gollux stuff for 1500 dollar. If you can afford it, why not.
Some people are just willing to spend that much on Maplestory, even hundreds of dollars for usernames. It's their money, so whatever.

@wolfexe: You better sell them quick, KMS recently had an update where after you delete a character, the name will be available at a random, unknown amount of time after the character is deleted.
@beefly: I think what he meant are like four lettered or "one-dictionary-worded" IGNs
ex : Love, Hate, Soup, Pizza
@endurance: I didn't buy them. I got them a few years back when Nexon wiped all the inactive characters from accounts that had no 200+s
