Orangemushroomz stated that the really old books that cannot be used could only be traded for the new books (e.g triple throw 30 on a NL), but we'll see
All of the books in the RED update are now going to be universal books that are separated into lvl 20 and lvl 30 which have a 100% success rate.
You can trade in the old skill specific Mastery Books in for those new ones via Maple Admin.
You can either buy them from an NPC or find them as a drop.
