Do you have to show up every day of pre - season training?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering if you have to show up every day for pre season training for sports in school, specifically track. It's not mandatory for us, but I don't know if you have to go every day if you already went the first day, which I did. I also don't know if other schools have the same policies as well, but I figured I might as well ask Thanks!
