Swimming Test What to do?

Soon I have to apply for courses for fall. My school requires students to take a swim test to see if you can swim. If you can't swim, then they force you to take swimming as physical education. I guess I can pass the test if I tried to, but my swimming ability isn't going to keep me alive if floor is too deep. Should I attempt the test or just tell my school I can't swim?

Practice swimming by yourself in an area that your comfortable not drowning in. I.e if your like 5ft in height, then practice swimming in 5.5ft of water and force yourself to swim until you are comfortable with the rhythm. Otherwise, you'll drown and have to take classes which you don't want.

So you can't swim, but you're asking us if you should take the swimming test? Let me tell you something, they ain't gonna be giving the test in a kiddie pool. You can take the class, or drown in front of your friends.
