Kanna is chasing after Oda because he is a bigger problem than Mori. Mori tried to summon the Demon King, and Oda tried to become the next Demon King. They both stopped Oda. They worked together and weakened him, and in the final fight where Oda was going to sacrifice the Princess's soul, she let out a burst of light that saved them all and sent them to the Maple World.

The cool thing about this is that Oda and Mori were both real people in history

Mori was actually Oda's attendent, and Oda actually tried to unify Japan

I think mori is Oda's right hand man kind of think. So I guess Mori is sealing the princess so Oda can become the demon king? I'm not sure..
