Tips for not dcing overnight?

I've been dcing a lot overnight when I leave my shop on, is there any tips or ways to prevent that from happening? Not really sure if its my internet but I know that my computer is not sleeping, any kind of tip is appreciated!

Don't use Comcast as your internet provider.

Prey to the Rngesus gods.
But sometimes going fullscreen can help if you're known to lag a lot, and make sure your internet isn't dropping connection at night.

@RedBreloom Make sure all external programs are closed. And like u mentioned its very very important ur computer is not sleeping, so just turn off the monitor and leave it be. Also if you are playing on a laptop don't close it because it will tend to overheat and screw ur computer up.

Given you did not specify your setup, I think you are most likely using wireless in the 2.4GHz frequencies? Those bands are pretty saturated nowadays and can lead to dropoffs sometimes. Suggest you either connect using a cable directly to your router, connect through the 5GHz frequency (assuming your hardware can support that!), or simply move your computer closer to the router. Either of these should alleviate some, if not all, of your dc issues.

dont take an fm1 or any generally good spot. People who can dc usually will for your spot.
