is this low self esteem or am I just shy?
So I was at office hours for a review session since I might as well since I was already in the classroom for it. So everyone was asking questions and they did ask some that I wanted clarification with. But I don't ask questions until the end because I always feel like other peoples questions are more important than mine. So I'm just taking notes and once most people are done asking their questions and have also left, that's when I ask my questions. But by that time, everyone else was already gone so I basically got a one on one session with the ta for about 10mins then left.
I wish I could randomly ask questions when people were actually there, plus I didn't like waiting. O.o
Does anyone else do this. ;-; sigh.

Yeah... I never quite figured out the asking for help thing. I have personality stuff I need to work on.
Some students prefer talking to their professors/TA 1 on 1 for a more personal conversation. I have some students who always ask questions during labs while I have 2 students who always wait till the end to ask me questions. It's personal preference I believe, not about low self-esteem or being shy.
I do that as well. I wait until class ends, then I go up to the professor and ask them my questions. I don't feel comfortable doing this, but it's just nervousness that I need to get over. I mean, nobody is gonna laugh at you for asking a question, but this was a habit that I've developed since high school
I do that. I wait until I'm the only one left before asking questions cause I don't want to look stupid.
Awkward, but do you need to define it as low self esteem or shyness?
Just accept it or change if it's a problem.
