It looks like this is a well-deserved balancing for high %/s classes, but low hits/s classes, as I think most players do not cap outside of Magnus' blue area (equivalent to a 1/10 damage cut).
(Well, besides the new physical resistant bosses and for any class with Elemental Reset, I think it would be more accurate to say you don't cap at 1/5 of your regular damage on Magnus).
Looks like the actual %/s charts will actually have some use now.

I think this is what Dojo should be in the first place, it balances good mobbing classes and those who have good 1v1 classes. Because an Aran would never have a chance dealing 1/2 the same DPS as a Kaiser.

Unless you can hit 500-550m a line right now on a regular boss (no physical resistant), the class with the higher %/s will win.
Edit: I think the lowest h/s class that will be affected by this the most is MM. I think they will start capping in the new Dojo at around 10-15m range (unsure how much is needed to cap on Dojo on MM).
So if you have >30-40k stat, you might still win on the slowest class. To make all the slow classes cap, I think you would need 50-60k stat though.

This just shows that Dojo is no longer the place to go for gloves. Only those who are top in their server will get gloves, while everyone else will not. Even though you could buy the mini version gloves from shop, I don't think those are worth it compared to other gloves you could get. Everyone will do Dojo too because of the nice rewards in shop, such as Epic Pots, etc, etc which reset weekly. Get your tyrant gloves now before it's too late!

It's funny how the people who don't need the gloves (people who hit way past cap) will get the gloves easier now
