How do I shutdown a computer or Tv on the same network?

k so i have my internet and tv in a bundle and my aunt watches hdtv 24/7, or streams 6 hour videos on her laptop. i can barely load things, she uses up all the bandwidth that i still lag at over 1000 ping at 3 am in the morning. she can be reading a book and she'd leave them on. is there anyway i can shut them both down remotely? ive tried shutting down her laptop with command prompt but it doesnt work, it gives me an access denied message.

Depending on your Router, you can limit maximum access speeds for each connected device.

I've only seen this Feature on the ASUS routers, but I'm sure others have it as well.

If you have access to the router, you can create a second 'guest' network for you to use. You could, depending on the router, disable the first network. Disable ssid broadcast for less suspicion too. You could also do it during the day and just tell your aunt that the internet's down lol
