Weird things your professor says

Well, I am starting my Jr year of college. My professors are a little. . . weird

My first professor is teaching "Drawing for Animation"
- During a drawing session, we were drawing a girl dressed in middle-eastern muslim garb. Our professor also turned on some middle-eastern music to set the mood of our drawing session. He said, "I am glad you aren't blowing yourself up" to our model. . . wth
My second professor is teaching "Intro to technology"
- He is telling us not to believe in the "Lying Charlatans" that are global-warming scientists, and claims that "any idiot can see that global warming is not manmade" and that there is "no science" backing global warming.

*sigh*
I guess that is what I get for going to a university in Utah.

Anyway, what are some controversial things your teachers, or professor say?

@Bob11111: Because he is fixated on us doing a good work with our project (as he thinks he is a good teacher) and I want straight A's on everything I do C:

One of my chemistry professors who is extremely dear to me had a very strong and cute accent. There were many new words/concepts encountered in the class so I didn't hesitate or flinch if she said some word I'd never heard of in my life. Weeks after hearing her say something that sounded like "adjulance" I realized she'd been saying edge length. I felt like an idiot but I did get a few chuckles out of that haha moment. Some other students created a facebook page where people can share the things this professor says often that sounds funny/or we have no idea what she is trying to say. She's very nice and an excellent professor. <3 Now that I think about it... I tend to like my professors with heavy foreign accents more overall.
My Swedish/English teacher is really weird... I can't really describe what he says but he isn't really teaching out and does like... charades(?) and tells off topic stories and stuff completely not related to the subjects at all. We don't get our necessary information we need to at leats begin a proper school project :T
Why would you want to do a project?

Not sure about my professors, but all of my male physics TAs trash talk about each other during discussion sections.

I did have this one Trekkie professor. He was awesome.
My writing professor made us go around the room and introduce ourselves: our name, where we're from, what High School we went to, what major we are, and what did we think this class was about (ya, this one was extremely weird).

So, after each person went, he would be like 'So... (insert person's name), do you know what we're going to do in this class?' Usually the person was like "Uhm... writing?" And he's like "NO! NOT JUST WRITING! WE'RE GOING TO BE WRITING 40 PAGE PAPERS AND TAKING POP QUIZZES AND YOU HAVE TO RESEARCH THEM FOR HOURS ON END IN THE LIBRARY!"

I may have to drop this class; not because of the difficulty but because this guy is crazy.
lol, sounds like my old math teacher. Hopefully, your teacher/professor doesn't carry those 40 assignments out.
