You get these items that have the word solidifier in their title. When you double click them it allows you to lock the item. The ones you get for free from mobs lock the item for just 1 week at a time, and after it expires the item will reset to its base stats. There are also some relatively cheap solidifiers in cs and these can lock the item for up to a year.

Unless I'm doing it wrong, yeah, the core resets automatically after a year and you need to redo it. Not an issue from what I've seen, tho, and it takes less than 5k nx for me to redo it and lock it again.
oh ok. that's not bad. thank you
thank you for the information.

what do you mean by "lock the item" and what does that do?

also the core will need to be redone?

i was on break for a little while so i don't really know anything about jetts. i remember when they were released, but i never paid attention to them

The core is basically the Jett's secondary weapon...it also functions as their link skill and whatever you get for stats on it is shared with whatever class you link it to. Once you get the level 120 one, i think thats the level, you can reasonably easily get your core to have 30+ atk by purchasing the 5k nx jett package in cash shop. With that package, stop as soon as you get either 30+ atk on the attack line, but also pay attn to the line just to the left of the atk line...if you see it receive a number over 30, use the item you got in the package that allows you to rotate it clockwise. When you do that it'll slide the whole collection of stats clockwise, pushing the line that had been to the left of attack into attack's line. You then have to lock the item, and can do so for up to a full year using various condense thingies. I've had to redo my core 3 times over the past few years and every single time I finished it by using that clockwise turn item to move a line into the atk position. It's never taken me more than the one package to get over 30atk.

Thanks xD

Here's a rather larger discussion I wrote for people working to gear their Angelic Buster and a bit of the information I've gathered over time as well as figured out by trying various variables in the range formulas. Might be of some use to you, idk.

Critical chance is probably the best thing you can aim for after atk%. If you get the opportunity, try for a 30% crit inner ability. It's difficult...and took me forever to get it...but it's worth it. Other than that people are too quick to just say atk%...try to get around 200% total boss dmg, get atk% when you can, try to avoid total dmg%(it's treated identical to boss dmg% in the range formula...so it's normally a waste of a line to get total damage.) Dex% is ok but when the item can get any of the atk%, boss dmg, pdr, total dmg - aim for those lines in place of dex. Basically try to be diverse in the lines you get overall. In the end because of the formula most stats have diminishing returns at a certain point and when you get there, you're better off changing to a different stat than to keep pumping more of whatever % it is you're really high in.

In terms of a starting place, I'd recommend first focusing on cubing your weapon, secondary weapon and emblem to legendary and then aiming for atk%, pdr + boss dmg, and crit.
After that, bonus cube those three items and aim for legendary. Try to get a mix of the same stats as on your regular potential.

Dunno if it'll help, but I can solo virtually every boss in the game and these are the lines I have on my items:

weapon:
reg --> 30% boss dmg, 12% atk, 30% pdr
bonus --> 12% atk, 9% crit, crap third line.
25% boss neb.

secondary weapon:
reg --> 12% atk, 9% atk, crap third line.
bonus --> 9% atk, 6%atk, 6% atk (yeah, 21% atk but still unique, rofl. I got lucky.)
25% boss neb

emblem:
reg --> 40% pdr, 12% atk, crap third line
bonus --> 9% total dmg, 9% dex, 2str per 10 char levels. I'm still working on my bonus on this item...until I got 30% crit inner ability, I used my bonus to boost my crit. Now I'm trying to get something good for those lines but I haven't been lucky so far.
4% all stat neb

Another key thing to do is to focus on other chars on your account for link skills and character cards.
Get the kanna to 120 for 10% damage
The demon slayer to 120 for 15% boss damage
Demon avenger to 120 for 10% damage
Luminous to 120 for 15% pdr
Phantom to 120 for 15% critical
Xenon to 120 for 10% all stats
Jett can get you 30+atk on the core if you pump the nx into it. It's not hard at all.

Then, character cards. You'll want the pirate set for the pdr boost.
You'll want the thief set for increased min/max critical dmg which really does help

Specific cards you'll want(all a minimum of S rank) are Kanna (3% boss), angelic buster card (80 dex), sniper card = 3% crit, demon avenger = 3% boss, hayato = 6% minimum crit, shade = 3% min crit, 3% max crit and xenon adds 20 to str/dex.

Heres the set up I'm using:
first set: kanna, ab, sniper
second set: avenger, hayato, shade
third set: phantom, xenon and dual blade.
(I already have 90% clean pdr so I got rid of my pirate set in order to get the thief set and keep the shade and hayato and sniper.)

In terms of other gear...get tyrant and work to get them all to at least 10 stars. While you work on your tyrants, your tyrant glove can wait. Make a point of getting the dojo gloves.
Myself, I mostly considered my main tyrants done once I got them to 10 stars with legendary potential with 20%+ dex, perhaps a line of 10-12atk on the bonus pot and then a 4% all stat neb.

After and during this, work on your rings. For now stick to gollux rings, all four. Get the superior and reinforced perfected. Then aim for 15% dex at least on each.

Then, work on your pendants. Get two superior gollux pendants. This allows you to get the 4 set effect which has 30% boss and 30% pdr. Perfect both.

Get superior gollux earrings and perfect them as well, aiming also to get at least 15-20% dex.

CRA set obviously. Aim for at least 15% dex per item. An easy goal with regards to bonus potential for all items is to aim for at least 10 atk bonus on one line. That's good and that rule goes for all bonus potentials other than weapons/emblem.

Get at least a 60attack heart.

Once you've done all of the above, try for your tyrant gloves.
They're the most difficult and expensive piece of gear you're gonna have.
I've got my tyrant glove to the point where it's basically as good as the Hero Glove.
To do this, I have the following stats on it: 127 dex, 127 str. 95atk.
regular potential --> min crit 15%, 9% dex, crap third line.
bonus potential --> dex per 10 char levels = 1, 4% dex, and 11atk.

You'll need legendary status on the gloves in order to get the % min/max crit you need to compensate for the lack of boss and total dmg dojo gloves have. Min and max critical dmg are interchangeable so as long as you have one or the other, you're fine. So aim for roughly 11 stars on your tyrant glove.
Sweet water gloves, even 54 atk, pale in comparison and the effort to get them is wasted when you could be working on tyrants.

Face/eye/shoulder, all aim for legendary potentials w/ 10atk bonus line. Worry about scrolling them later when you're finishing up.

Hope that helps. Sorry for saying so much but I didn't want it to be lacking anything, lol.
Perhaps there are alternative routes, but thats the route I took and I'm happy with the result. I get sub 6 minute dojo times. My soul seeker averages 50mil per line on regular mobs. Obviously hitting max dmg on bosses.

Etc I didn't fit in above. Get totems. Perhaps get items with decent speed infusion, advanced bless and combat orders. I don't hardly use them, though so I don't consider them necessary.
Become an alchemist and make yourself potions such as advanced great hero/boss rush, etc. Farm red and green mpe potions.

Hope thats what you're looking for.
regular pot:

9% atk
12% avoid

bonus pot:
12% atk
9% crit(which I need to achieve 100% crit)
4% pdr
Nope, they're not permanent and in my mind the free one that comes with the char is just as good as the cs ones depending on your mood. I personally alternate between the free one and the pinkish/orangish one...tho I have things I hate about each of the different compacts. I've submitted several tickets begging Nexon to remove compacts entirely and just let us dress up our chars as we like...having two cs looks, imo, would be an awesome attraction for some people to make and play the class that otherwise wouldn't have.

Personally I think they should remove gender lock too and model the boy look off kpop male stars which would fit just as well in the char lore.

I love Alton Brown. Reminds me of myself how hes nerdy and curious about every subject.
the free one is ok with me too, they should make the compacts perm if you can't wear anything else. there are tons of perm nx options, but only 3 compacts.

yes, 2 looks in one, zero already is like that, it would work on AB too.

i would love a kpop star for AB, but i doubt they are going to do it at this point.
