Cant play Maplestory
I recently came back from my evening class about an hour ago. After I logged into the site, for some reason, it won't allow me to play the game. It keep suggesting that I download the game. I did it, even thought I already did. Not surprise it didn't take that long. It keep saying that I need to download the game to play. I know I downloaded the game. Is there a way to fix this error? I restarted the computer as suggested by my friend. I used game launcher as well
Edit: I believe the first poster's solution is coming through. Problem may be fixed!

A clean install is always best. (ie- removing ALL old files, except maybe screenshots if you have those) Plus, keep in mind that MS is unstable under the best of conditions T_T
If the above doesn't work, Nexon put out a beta Launcher some time ago. Maybe try that?
PS: IE Explorer is bollocks. Go thru Firefox - should work fine with that.
I never launch from the site though, because browsers tend to add a lot more resources (especially Chrome, running a background process per active app >.< and generally cause more crashing.
Install MapleStory to a location other than where you usually install it(after you uninstall it and restart computer), then run GameLauncher.exe as admin?

Use the gamelauncher
Could be that you didn't erase all the files from before. Uninstall maple and delete the Maplestory folder.
Try downloading the game from the support>game and client section and not the play button one.
