Corsair Training
Just out of curiosity how do you guys train? Say for example Kishin is set up, do you mop the floor back and forth with Broadside, or use Easton. Or any other skills?

If I'm soloing, I'll stand on the second lowest platform in a the middle and go back and forth with Eight Legs. If I'm in a party (which is most of the time), I'll stand on the right side of the second to top platform and fire my broadside to the left. If you're in the right spot, the bombs should go over the to platform and kill the mobs in the open area on the left. You can do this on the left side of the platform as well but I found that the mobs that spawn on the right are harder to hit.
Training at Second Drill Hall, I would usually stay in the center and basically attack left and right routinely with ELE, and sometimes I'd go to either sides to speed up the spawn (provided that you are soloing and that there is no kanna in the party). But as lazypando said, perhaps using blunderbuster is more efficient as it is faster and it has great vertical range. It's preferable to use if you have great range which, in your case, you do!
@SnailPresident wait how? o.o Im assuming w/o Kishin, because with it, its a constant renewal of mobs. also broadside is slow af going left to right >.<
It is true that bombs don't pierce mobs, they slowly work across. However, once all mobs are dead and the area is filled with bombs, the waves of re spawn start to die instantly...
I recommend using 8LE. Why? because Broadside bombs stop at first enemy hit. So in the end, its better to use Easton.
@lazypando Surprisingly i tested out the 3 (easton, Ship, and Blunderbuster) easton and Blunder both had Booster and Decent SI, Ship had nothing, and Blunder Kept beating out all 2. That surprised me. Theres variables ofc mob spawn placement, timing of using the skills, the fluidity of training in each session. But It beat out the the 2 constantly
I've been using blunderbuster lately for the vertical range and empress summon.
Yep that was a main reason why i thought it was this way, cause like you I lag hitting multiple mobs, before they would explode at a much earlier time. however I could really see the difference. Maybe I just need new glasses...
You may be right. I tend to lag a bit while training and I noticed they tweaked how it reacts to lag. Before, latency would cause the bombs to explode earlier and earlier until it was a point blank attack.
Now it seems they speed up the bombs sporadically to compensate for the lag.
Though, for me the mobs absorb more bombs before the game treats them as "dead" so maybe I'm just not seeing the skill at maximum effectiveness
i haven't physically tested it (im sure others have) but i just feel like broadside yields more exp per min then when im using Easton. (visually wise)
Broadside is the lazy easy way and it works well if there are other attackers in the map.
Training solo I prefer to stand in the middle and do easton left and right repeatedly.
