I have a 50k range buffed and i can easily solo hard attack but even when i had a 43k range I could.

Thanks for the tips. I guess I should have mentioned what I'm already doing / using in my original post. I use Power Elixirs almost exclusively after every hit. And I already do the rush to the end, ignoring the middle statues. I know about ignoring the tombstones and I'm good at keeping away from them. The "sweep beam" that shoots out from the red jewel on the top of the tower is what gets me every single time, however. It's too quick and the range is ridiculously long for me to dodge in time.

I'll give it another try this evening and see how it goes...

I haven't upgraded anything other than my weapon as I'm banking on "free" Empress pieces during the anniversary event so I'm mostly working on getting my link skill mules up to 100/120. Oh, I didn't realize it was the lazers that were getting you. The only way to fix that is to level up and get more HP. %HP equips would also be a nice addition. The empress set effect gives +15% HP if I remember correctly, so make sure you get the full set from the event

You should use Stance skills to avoid getting KBed into the totems (Mihile's link skill and then Infinity when that expires). That's really the only useful advice which hasn't been said yet.

Problem is that hell mods requires a lot of skill even among the funded and most parties lack either that or the org to go hell mode

OT: the lasers 1hit u regardless of HP so just get good at dodging.

One word:
Party Hell mode.
Do it with some high levels (180+) who wants their Inner Abilities.

I'm a bishop with ~74k range (buffs included) and I don't really have that much trouble soloing hard. The key for me is I have potion pot and pet auto HP/MP. My pet keeps me healed so I can just focus on attacking and dodging the tombstones. It usually takes me around 40 seconds to kill the tower, which isn't that impressive compared to other people I've seen, but it works for me

So my advice is upgrade your range first, then if you can get into the 60s~70s a pet may help you.

I'm able to solo Hard mode with a 45k range IF I watch what I'm doing, usually during 1 infinity or twice during Mihile's link, without stance or infinity I fail a lot.
The trick is getting away from the lasers that pop up from the floor after a little totem appears, those are OHKO, the eye's laser from the big totem hits % hp and you'll be constantly be hit by a lot of powerful monster so watch your HP/MP too, I recommend using elixirs or power elixirs rather than heal because that'll slow you and could mean death if a totem appears.
My strategy is to plain and simply overwhelm it before it does a lot of attacks (infinity) or to play it careful and avoid the attacks (Mihile's link), also, Holy magic shell is useful to teleport away the first statue and the clouds of mobs straight to the boss totem, if you die, kill all the monsters nearby the start line because if left unkilled they will start healing the tower (normally they don't make it through if you don't die, the boss dies before the monster get there).

The ground lasers from the towers deal %based damage, so it's always a one-hit kill. Learn the animation and how to avoid them, you can tell when the tower is about to use that attack when the oval slate it holds in its hands starts glowing. That's your cue to prepare to teleport dodge accordingly.

Really, the best way to solo Aswan hard mode is to have better damage. Heaven's door makes thing's MUCH easier since it'll give you 1-hit KO protection. I just rush the tower at the end before the middle one can spawn, and I can usually solo in about 30 seconds for about 2.3K honor exp each time. Always make sure you buff before entering attack/occupy mode, and the holy shell cooldown hyper skill does wonders since I can toss up holy shell right before I enter, and it'll protect me from being KBed into the tower's lasers by the mobs, and I can usually finish off the last tower before it runs out.

Yea I'm barely able to solo hard mode now with a 75k - 80k-ish range. Just find buddies or guildies who are willing to go with you on hard mode.

My buddy can solo hard faster than I can. He has a 100k+ range though. He is a bishop who caps...frequently. o.o

So to answer your question, soloing hard mode requires you to have a higher range/a better damage output.
Having more hp wont really help because the end towers do % based damage.

The lasers that fire from the ground up will always ohko you. You have to avoid that attack if you want to be able to solo.
