I demand a new open-source fire emblem game
WHY DO THEY NOT MAKE A GAME WHERE YOU CAN BUILD YOUR OWN SCENARIOS
IMAGINE ALL THE AWESOME USER CREATED STUFF
They already have awesome mods made with the NM program and sprite editors are rampant.

Oh really? I hadn't tried RPG maker in years, didn't think it'd be up to snuff. So does that mean you try to imitate the game or can you actually copy the script from the get-go and work off that?
Open source? Fire Emblem? It'll never happen.
But user created content? That's a possibility. I'd still like that to happen with Mario Kart 8 for Wii U as well as SSBB...one can hope.
