Okay, in my own experience (I am truly an Android fanboy), get an Iphone if you want a generic but smooth as butter experience. On the other hand, if you are geeky and like to install custom ROMs etc to customise, then by all means you should get the Nexus.
You'll have to wait to get a Nexus 5 since they're low in stock. But get it.
There are other alternatives. You can get better specs for cheaper. Apple is always more expensive, but up to you.
It's funny that everyone is just going with the trend and getting an iPhone.
nexus 5 is fat and ugly af.
iphone 5s is obviously the better deal
#biased as f
Go Nexus 5. 350-400 bucks w/o contract with killer specs. Come at me.
ANDROID USER JUST JEALOUS OF APPLE BECAUSE THEY COPY EVERYTHING OFF OF APPLE AND CANT AFFORD AND A AMERICAN BRAND PHONE COMPANY. lel
Not sure if troll or blind apple fanboy
If you were to get an iPhone, I (along with techies and geeks out there XD) will suggest you stay off the "S" years because it's the same phone with slightly better performance and speed and one major new feature/gimmick that doesn't really make up for the already one-year old design. Go with the Nexus 5 because this year, Google really seemed to go all out on their flagship with that Snapdragon 800 and 1080p display and that simplistic, yet beautiful design.
-I am a iPhone 5 user.
sorry i like my phones big so unless apple comes out with a new bigger iphone, i would go for the nexus 5. but seriously i want the nokia 1520 LOL the bigger the better!
Why don't people have plans with At&t, Verizon, Etc. An iPhone 5s only costs up to $200 when upgrading so it's way better..
Also, iPhone 5s. I don't trust all other phones because I've always had problems with my phones but when I got my iPhone 5 everything worked fine. Only problem is that you are forced to update it. I went a couple months without updating it and after like 2-3 updates my phone was running slow, freezing, not sending/receiving texts. But when I updated it everything worked perfectly again..
iPhone 5s, will have a slightly better resell value down the road.
then why bother buying a "new" iphone if it hasn't changed?Again no noticeable difference between the iphone 4s and iphone 5s
If you have a contract and you have an iphone 4s you can trade it in for a iphone 5s for like $50. So you know why not? It's also the first 64 bit phone so it's alot faster then anything else right now

oh really..?

Performance wise nexus 5 has the same or better specs than the iphone 5s. But ok have fun spending 600$.
Nexus 5 is uglier but better bang for your $$
Nexus 5 of course.
u know wat, i been debating wheather to get the 5s or the GS3/4 i have an upgrade availbe from my carrier so it cheap to buy and and i can trade in my old iphone to get an even bigger discount on the new phone.
i has the iPhone 4.
Depends on what you favour more. Each have their advantages and disadvantages. I could go on and on naming them but it would be best to just search it up.
I recommend trying out both iOS and Android if you haven't already and see which you overall like better.
@IKickCats: Why change something that doesn't need to be changed?
Hey if you're willing to spend 600$ over a phones look be my guest.
Lol at the people recommending an iphone. There's really no difference between iphone 4s over the iphone 5s you're basically buying another over priced iphone 4s...go with the nexus it will make your wallet happier to.
Some people like aesthetic over performance.. so what is your point?
does the nexus have good speakers?
