People have been rude on MS since forever man lol

the truth is, people in general are trash and lack common decency.
with the way ranmaru is configured, you have no choice. you either gotta stoop to their level or stick to your morals, there's no point complaining to people who aren't aware.

for me, whenever i get queued with another person to ranmaru, i just go out and cc. it's cringeworthy seeing how people leave party and rush to go into the room, especially in my case because i queue with my mule, so the other person gets queued at my convenience. i'd rather not act like chinese nongs shoving and pushing to get in front of the line.

You are the rude one for throwing a tantrum instead of ccing or waiting.

@resirbm: Actually, from the sounds of it, the person was pretty chill about it, finished their runs and was leaving. Either the guy could have waited or, if another channel was available, gone to another channel. It's just the same as entering a PQ - whoever clicks at the right time gets in. This isn't a map where he's fighting monsters and the guy just swept in and took over.

Also, from the conversation, if the TC showed any form of tact or maturity, the other player would have probably been "okay, you go in first" and waited their turn.

The truth is that the TC pretty much went into a temper tantrum over being out-clicked two times, then came to cry about it here. That's quite the overreaction.

Maple now has a turn to do daily boss? It's first come first serve. There is no such "are you in line?" "yes."
I mean come on. I understand how you feel but this is not something you call people greedy. If the person is afkin in the alter to keep you from going in, its a whole different story tho. So, in your defense, she's rude.

Everyone's always rude when there's a 2x event, dood. So many pricks wouldn't leave me alone to level up at the map before SDH/FDH.
But I don't think someone going into the Secret Alter before you is considered to be rude, Nexon is just lazy as hell to add more entry channels for the boss. Even I had to wait a long time before I could go in there. It's just something you have to expect when doing Ranmaru.

Um... you're being pretty childish here. You could have easily went to another channel. You didn't have to chastize the person who beat you to the entrance only two times, then think that's what the whole Maple community was like, before coming here like a crybaby to whine about it to us.

To be brutally honest, I think that, if the community was becoming "rude", it would be from people like you, not the person you're talking **** about (which... isn't that against Basil's ToS?).

Your problem is not with this individual, but with the way ranmaru is configured.
On this, there are dozens of threads on basil and the main website with people complaining. Please take your complaints to one of those threads...

Imao little kids who wants to flame on basil about something so simple, and i agree with resir. I can go in and 1hit it, in and out in less than a sec and you're doing everyone an injustice by going in and sitting in there attacking for 10mins per run. This happens on a daily basis to every single player who does ranmaru during x2 event. Get over yourself. The only reason you are upset is because it was right at the end of x2 event and you were feeling rushed.
I can tell you I personally get very frustrated when I have to sit and wait 10 minutes for someone to kill ranmaru, when I can enter and 1 hit and be in and out in 8 seconds.
I would relate the feeling to be wanting one item in the drive-through and the person in front of you just ordered every single item off the menu.
Because of this, I will always try to rush and get in immediately. I know i can be out of the persons way in a matter of seconds, but I don't know if they can do the same for me.

I can't believe you actually went to basil about this. Are you a child? Are you new to maplestory? Do you not remember the days of Zakum door? THIS IS NORMAL. Going into a channel and seeing someone standing there doesn't mean its their channel, some people AFK there because they get tired of waiting. Click faster to enter next time and stop raging at people because you weren't fast enough. There are three channels to go on it you want to.
