How was your day first year uni students?

Seeing as it's 7:15 PM Sydney time now, I'll be assuming most people will have come home by now.
For many Australian students, today happens to be their first day of university, and I was just feeling curious about how everyone is feeling
Anyone is welcome to contribute really, I just want to compare people's experience with mine last year
If you've started uni last week, you're also welcome xD
How is it compared to high school guys?
EDIT: Share what uni it is if you want, second year UNSWer here.
@SilentXynh: Really? You sound like you have a fun lecturer, mine so far are so boring . Medical Biophysics one has a sense of humour but most of the time I'm trying to decipher the notes and problems so i don't enjoy his jokes >:[
Yeah, he was going on about some internet organisation I won't mention here for a bit, then starts writing down steps on the board...
"1. Don't give up
2. Do it in small chunks (something along those lines anyway)
3. ?
4. PROFIT!"
The unfortunate thing is that according to my friends, the subject has one of the highest failure rates in that department

@Above: cartesian planes and what not apply to everything, you're not going to avoid it. You'd look at supply relative to demand, equilibrium price/quantity, rate of growth, utility, marginal profit, etc. They all use what you learn in high school maths.

Economic maths is mainly about interest rates yeah? So you'd mainly deal with graphs and percentages...(not the Cartesian plane graphs)
First day was great, 3 x 1 hour lectures and already I can see Medical Biophysics is going to be my most hated subject, whereas Cells, Tissues and Organisms is going to my biggest bludge.
I figured out the subjects I'd hate on my very first day too xD
My first one was accounting...lecturer was so boring
This year seems alright, computing lecturer sounds awesome, spewing out internet memes all over the place
@Dakoda: I wouldn't have a clue tbh, I can't think of anything other than actuarial that is really heavily maths intensive AND involves business.
I suppose there's economics, but it's not as heavy. You could try some engineering/commerce course like some of my friends are doing, assuming you like physics.
year 12
Well, if you're doing really well in 4U maths and you're interested in commerce, I'd suggest looking into actuarial studies as an option at least.
@ShakAttackV2: What subject is this? xD
@SilentXynh: Nice...I'm kinda worried about what I want to do with my life...I'm still indecisive...and then my marks haven't been all that great so far...
Oh trust me, I'm still in the wishy washy phase.
I originally intended to take up actuarial studies, but didn't end up liking it.
Giving business economics and computer science a go this year, hoping it'll be alright :S
@Above: What year are you in right now? A lot of commerce subjects involve some form of maths, the heavier maths subjects would probably be econometrics and actuarial studies, but the latter is quite demanding IMO.
is there any good commerce/math ?
I know some people who are doing Commerce/Science(Adv Maths) if that's what you're asking.
Oh nice, Double Degree? What was your ATAR?
I got a lol92.90 which got boosted with bonus marks thanks to me doing ext2 maths and getting band5+ for English.
I think the requirement for 2010 was 96 for Commerce.

Commerce/Science here.
@HerroMister: I don't think I can be bothered going, I don't own a pair of white pants unfortunately =[ Time isn't convenient for me anyway.

I only had lectures today, so pretty big bludge.
I'm taking some first year courses even though I'm a second year so I feel a little out of place
