Think it's 40% pdr from AP, though the skill doesn't say so lol The 100% is basically like Elemental Reset

Also carte noir adds 20% status resist though its a bit random
and the buff hyper skill stacks so something good to note

I just want to bean for fun. I'm HP washing on my merc right now and while I'm doing that, I thought I'd try beaning with another character. I have money, time, and patience =P
And after some experience with bean, I'm thinking of doing chaos with my partner. I just love to have some thrills in ms. Ms is too easy now a days you know? And then suddenly when you empress and bean you get all nervous and it's so much fun. I feel like I'm actually playing a game then.

i dont`have enough experience with luminous to know.
i`m pretty sure my friend`s IL mage experienecd damage penalties too from resistence. i`ll have to look into it more when i get time this weekend.
and i beleive some bosses only have physical resist btw, so it doens`t affect mage.s

pb, empress, hilla, magnus all have a resistence stat, that we cannot bypass, and thus all our damage is penalized automatically by 50%.
i think the new root abyss bosses have this too. i havne't checked.

Pretty sure kaiser and demon slayer have the highest status resistance (60% clean, 80% with max willpower). You can get a lot of different things to help with ignore def, but it doesn't seem to do much at pink bean. My demon slayer had over 100% ignore (30-leafre set, 30- shield, 15- demon cry, 30- demon impact, 30- binding darkness) and his damage was still halved at pb, emp, and hilla.

a hero, kaiser, and demonslayer probably have the easiest time achieving 100% def ignore of all the classes, if i rememeber correctly.
each of them, have a strong passive def ignore stat, coupled with leafre set codex, ambition, perhaps a pirate card bonus, its possible to be almost, if not already 100% un-buffed def ignore.

a hero however has a hard time reaching the two hawk statues with raging blow. magic crash allows for quick work of bean itself.
kaisers easily reach with all their skills. two skills allow them to attack through dmg reflect as noted by another person already.
demonslayer can use carrion, soul eater, or impact to reach them with ease. bind helps a bit, but no where as effecient as a hero with magic crash, or the kaise.r

a demonslayer beats both the hero, kaiser, and pretty much any other class in terms of status resistence. hwoever this shouldnt' be an issue at bean because of the way the boss is set up. status resistence is really only an issue at empress, ht, cht, or czak.

a hero and kaiser haev the demonslayer beat hands down in terms of dpm though, because we all know a DS just downright sucks at 1v1. dark meta is always a danger too when dmg reflect is present, hwoever timing of DR at pb is pretty straight forward.

30% pdr ignore from aquiring the leafre set in your codex
15-18%pdr ignore on each weapon
that puts you at 60%

10% from max ambition
10% from luminous link skill
dont forget a lot of classes have passive pdr ignore skills
you can always try and get pdr ignore on your weapons when you cube it too(dont go for only pdr ignore!)

kaiser is probably your best bet for pink beaning character
although making a character strictly for pink bean is kind of a waste
there is next to no profit to be made from pink bean
it is fun though

-Luminous link skill: 10%
-All weapons can have 15% Ignore Def or more
-Showa Town book gives 15%, Leafre book gives 30% (get them through collect all Showa/Leafre monster cards)
-avenger title you get from achieving somehting in PvP gives you 5%
-Some skills may have it and it combines with the above
