Tales of Xillia or Tales of Graces?

So tomorrow I'm heading to Gamestop to pick up my copy of GTA5 and while I'm there, I plan on getting either Tales of Xillia or Tales of Graces.

Tales of Xillia is $59.99 but will be limited edition and comes with a character artbook, costume dlc, and a music CD of the game. (Although these bonus items are nice, I'm more interested in the game alone and its content.)

While Tales of Graces is $39.99

I'm a big fan of the Tales series, Symphonia being my favorite, and really can't decide. If anyone played the series, which would be better? Which do you think has the better story, combat system, and presentation?

Also if you're interested in the difficulty and time it takes to platinum them, they're pretty much the same in difficulty, but Xillia is much faster to platinum.

I only have one thing to say which is that I prefer the combat systems in Graces f over Xillia. Mainly because in Xillia you have to move left and right for forward and backward. I prefer up and down much more. I also liked the cc used in Graces f. For the skill system, I liked the lillium orb in Xillia better than the titles in Graces f. The lillium orb was much more simple and friendly too. Titles you had to level by getting SP from battles and titles are unlocked by doing specific things. Xillia was rushed so it was expected that there wasn't as much content as I expected if it wasn't rushed. Graces f had a lot more replayability and a better story.

Also if you didn't know both games are $5 cheaper on the PlayStation Store, but if you're like me then you'd want a physical copy. The artbook included with the Tales of Xillia limited edition isn't much. If you really want an artbook get the collector's edition and you'll even get a figure of Milla.

Wait for the remake of Tales of Symphonia instead.

I platinumed both; I didn't like their stories compared to Symphonia though.
If you want a game with fun/reflexive combat, choose Graces. This game can actually be challenging compared to Xillia. Play on the hardest difficulty and you'll get rewarded with good titles for Hubert. It's a blast to play multiplayer with too. The story is pretty shallow. It's not until Lineage and Legacies that they touch on immortality and loneliness.

Xillia is like Symphonia V2. It's shorter though but having the sequel makes up for it. It's way too easy. You should crank it to hard to even have deaths happen. You can only play 2 players with it if you want to take full advantage of the battle system. If you choose this, choose the male character's story first or it'll make no sense. Honestly, the game felt cheap. It didn't have the battle depth that Symphonia or Graces have. I heard the sequel will fix the easyness and battle depth though.

I'd buy Tales of Xillia, the opening seems more epic than graces.

The limited edition items are also a pretty sweet deal.

Graces for the better combat and Xillia for a slightly better story (even though I haven't finished it yet).

dunno much about Xillia, Graces has the best combat system so far (and judging from what i've seen of Xillia's, Graces beats it as well)
