[Reboot] Did I screw up for equips?
Hey Basil, long time no see.
I started playing maplestory again during break and ended up joining the reboot server. Right now I am a level 143 Shad, and I am still using lvl20 pants. I have been farming at level 80 maps to try and find the dark pirate pants, but I don't seem to be getting any drops. Is there a cutoff point for what level I can farm items from a mob? If so, what should be my next step? Is there still a way I can get them? Or do I need to switch to a higher level armor and go with an overall? My top is already unique so I would rather not switch if I don't have to.

There's a vendor at Ninja Castle who sells Dark Pirate Pants (and a bunch of other level 80 equips) for 1 mil. I haven't checked Reboot to see if that same NPC is there, but there's no reason it should be taken out.
If you search maps where they drop, you can find them on the floor if other people in level range that train there don't pick it up after a minute or so(though if everything only drops by class now then you'll probably need a thief in the map).

Just get the 140 gear. Its much better anyways (I got the full set after like 2 DIPQ runs)
@endurance: Oh perfect thank you! Do you have any recommendations? The only ones I can think of off the top of my head would be the ice witch or that seashell in Aquarium.
@smashface: not if you kill a boss within that level range

you get items from monsters within your level range (assuming you use lucky winters too)
farm dark cornians outside leafre and you will find the 140 set
