Why on earth would you exclude jump-attacking when it's basically the whole point of a Night Walker? O_o I don't think there's anyone here who mains a Night Walker and doesn't utilize jump-attacking.

Even post-nerf, a capping Night Walker will still outclass a capping Night Lord purely because of the ability to jump-attack, plus our hyper skill that gives us three shadow servants instead of one. Although with the damage reduction, the gap in dps between the two classes will be much smaller than before.

Slightly o/t: I have no idea why Night Walkers are whining about this "shadow servant" nerf in the first place because only 0.5% of Night Walkers cap on every star, including the ones thrown by shadow servants. Like @ForeverNL said, NW was the only class that had a shadow servants/partners without a dmg cap, which was pretty unfair tbqh. It's that elemental resist that we lose that's going to be a real headache. </3

The main nerf to NW's is the loss of 50% ele ignore and the Shadow Partner ratio cap, meaning their SP will cap at 30m (NL's caps at 35m). With Jump Attacking NW dps is still better but without Jump Attacking then NL is better.

Nw wins with jump attacking. Honestly, itll come down to which you want to play because the difference between the two becomes rather minor with nw just winning a bit.

You can't just say no jump attack if you're comparing the classes. If it's because you can't jump attack yourself then NL for sure. Even after the nerf NW are still better as bossing, but NLs shine in mobbing.
Surprised at how much this thread has been posted and it's such a simple answer.

For me its the shadows damage cap on NW. I think they capped the shadows damage to around 30m. I mean they were the only thief class that had no cap on their shadows.... This is a HUGE nerf to players who capped with their shadows. Back to NL i go <3
