After the first 2 days of Hekaton, we managed to kill about 30% of him. Still very far to go before it will be killed! We're the 2nd server to get it so there is hardly any tactics out to follow, so now it's time to put our heads to work how to beat it ^^

@powerlad88: oh right, thanks
@Dominion: the boss drops coins for the hekaton shop to purchase tyrant gloves
With a lot of teamwork of both servers we managed to kill it twice yesterday .
In kritias you can buy various stuff with coins. There are two types: ''Anheim'' and ''Kritias'' coins. Anheim are required for 800 anti-magic (currency ofr kritias) and Kritias coins for 1500 anti-magic + stone. You can get one stone a day from a daily quest and you can get a few by doing the invasion. So it's quite hard to get kritias coins (used for the most valuable items) due to limited rocks.
If you participate hekaton, you get coins based on your damage rank. Rank 1 gets 10 kritias and 5 anheim coins. Rank 11-30 gets 3 kritias and 1 anheim. If hekaton is killed, you get more coins (Rank 1 = 15 kritias, 10 anheim). There are no specific drops, but the rate of coins is way better than doing the other methods.
What does this boss drop?
It's not been killed yet, so no one knows
What does this boss drop?
We will probably not get this, along with the auction house knowing nexon.
This stuff requires some real hard work! We've decided not to even try and fix it. Good luck by the way gach was re done try it out!

We can enter a total of 30 people at a time, and theres a locker room system which changes out people (so new ppl can enter). kinda strange and unfair if you first got in and then get kicked out in 1 minute.
We got it to around ~50% (Maybe a bit below) yesterday. and today maybe lower if we can stay in the fight without to many DC's and kicks as the boss is kind of bugged right now
Light meteors doesn't heal you as surposed to, they KILL you in ONE HIT instead!
Issue is to get the top damage dealers into the fight and work as a group and know what to do together. but its slowly going forward now
Cool, good luck with future runs

Im hoping that Nexon does some changes to this boss, especially on the way some of its mechanics work and the requirements to enter the battle. As of right now fighting this boss can be the most frustating thing you will find on MapleStory.
With how many where u there?
