Yeah the mobs can drop the cores, or you can buy them from the shop (although I don't think they were all in the shop when I looked). Once you have the core, you put it into the system the same way you change the mobs hp and everything and when you go in there should be a quest on the left hand sid of your screen to complete.

Once you complete the quest, ESS will tell you to login again (to the Evolution System, not the game itself) to access the repaired area, so you have to leave and come back after that to get in. It still counts towards your 5 entries a day though, so if you do the quest, just kill mobs for 30 minutes and then leave so you don't waste a trip inside.

They can be done in any order since they drop randomly anyway. Each link obviously has a different layout and monster setup.

Ive found Link 6 8 and 9, no sign of link 7. all the mobs inside drop them.

Can you buy link 9 core with coins?

the cores drop from monsters in evo world. you can also trade in evo coins for the cores
