All Daft Punk fans

Have you seen this shiz? everyone is saying that "the third twin" is actually Daft Punk. I'm pretty convinced myself. If it isn't them, its an outright copy :O

http://www.youtube.com/user/thethirdtwinchannel

they are even in one of the videos! weeeeeeird (at about 4:50)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8G1rXFz4Fg

I heard that these were tron leaks that disney wouldn't use in tron and wouldn't let them use themselves, so they released them under this name...but surely that wouldn't make a difference? besides none of the songs sound like they could have been used in tron legacy, way too similar to homework and discovery :o

I love Daft Punk, I remember so long ago I listened to one of their songs, but of course I was really young back then in the 90s, and when i rediscovered DP in 2004 I was like "uahbfoaefbselufbomgomg". 2007 was a great year for Daft Punk, Alive 2007 was aaaaaaamaaaaaaaaaaazing. I have to see them live before I die.

this is a message on their youtube page

thethirdtwinchannel:
" Soon... Tour Dates: U.S.A, Canada, Australia, U.K, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Romania, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia & Mexico."

I really hope its them....how would two unknown producers go touring to all these places? they would never sell out...ITS THEM! IT HAS TO BE!

The video remind me of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qm8vrt2ebnk
I wouldn't be surprised if they took some part of it. Knowing they are from France and this video is too.
That would be wonderful. Just hope its not during the summer I work in a summer camp.
So where do you live in england?
i live in London! :o its a really fun city to be in but once you've been here your whole life i think its natural to want to be somewhere else. I'd love to live in Cali or NYC very much. We have big arenas here but i've been to Madison Square Gardens before and so I am very jealous, it must've been very special

Yeah dude, that one, chicago soul and Justice are my favorites. I love em all to be honest, its not often I like an entire album - its normally only when daft punk make an album...; )
you probably will like homework the least, but their whole discography is definitely worth gettin
my favorite album probably along with most people is discovery
I've been listening to Daft Punk for forever, they're probably my most listened to artist on my ipod, and I think Homework is great :o Not as good as Discovery, but it's still worth getting in my opinion.

@Lonepiggie: Get the Discovery, Homework, and Alive 2007 albums.
Not everything has to sound the same forever. While I do agree that it sounded a bit like Zimmer, Derezzed is still the best I've heard in years.
But it was generic! Sure it was "good", but the Daft Punk I know would never settle for that.
Well, the score sounded nothing like what they had put out before. With the release of 5555, they proved that their songs could be a score of a movie, and need not be generalized like most other film scores. While it was Daft Punk, the sound was just not them.
fair enough, but as much as I would have loved another discovery album to score the movie with, it just wouldn't have helped in the more dramatic scenes
they never sold out for disney dude, they came to Joseph Kosinski and Disney asking to do the score for the movie, and Kosinski insisted. don't lose faith!

Wow, that does sound like Daft. If these songs are truly non-released Tron songs, my faith has been restored in the duo. They haven't sold out to accommodate some trillion dollar company.

I really cannot be sure. Regardless it does sound brilliant.
I love Daft Punk. I've been a fan for as long as I've been a Gorillaz fan. I saw them both for the first time on Toonami's Midnight Run Special Edition.
The night when they shown all the music videos.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjli3hj0ZkM And still my favorite song since back then ^_^

Hey dorkface.
Yeah this is definetly not Daft Punk. Doesn't mean that it is bad, but what kind of major name like Daft wouldn't release a song this great?
hayhay loser

i wonder why they'd be in the video of euphoria though...very odd
Hmm, well I don't have a soundcard atm so I couldn't listen ot any of their stuff. But somehow I just really doubt that their channel hinting towards them being Daft Punk is just somekind of a publicity trick.
yeah its definitely not that. I think they were just unable to release it under their name so they "leaked" it themselves for us to enjoy...hopefully anyways

@Impacity: Yeah! i'm not sure whats with the name change but theres a bunch of stuff that suggests it. I don't really know why Daft Punk would appear in an unknown french electronic band when they hate the publicity. It might be stuff they just haven't released over all the years they've been active, because they have had crazy long breaks inbetween albums where im sure they weren't just not making music, i bet there are hundreds of tracks we haven't even heard :o

It's also a possibility that Daft Punk weren't pleased with the restrictions that Disney put on them with regard to the sound and all the orchestral stuff, and made these during the production of tron and therefore made "the third twin" to avoid legal troubles.. but then again i really have no idea thats a complete guess and in an interview in Dazed and Confused they actually did say they enjoyed working with some of the best musicians in the world for the score, so this is probably crap too
