Chain lightning is a pretty cool guy. Can't wait to play around with it even though my Archmage is somewhat neglected right now (lolultimates).

Actually I read that on the same site as had the 810% CL confirmation - I believe it's correct.

Mmmhmmm. Sucks though, at 740% a critical on a lightning-weak enemy with cheese and my current gear would've broken 2.7m... Which means even on PB (if he were lightning weak), I'd be breaking 800k.

With the new 810% CL, if I had MW 30, I'd be breaking 900k.

I like it even better now - The recent BB restructuring patch has increased its power to 810% damage. O-O

Has anyone had luck on this topic?[/quote]They're GPQ bonus drops; very hard to find, and yet for some reason not expensive. Prices go from 5-10m it seems. Find a guild that GPQs often, or muster up a crew. They're not rare drops.

I only killed a 154 NL (who does tons more damage) 3 times and 2 times a Drk rush mule who ganged up to ks me at Anego with max CL, it's not that great really.

I'm really excited for BB when we'll actually get to use it.
To be honest, I sometimes forget we have a second element, haha.

I really like it, it's one of the funnest skills in the game. I like how CL and thunder spear get sooo good after BB. I always liked lightning better and those 2 moves are my favorites in the game.

Well, the fact that you don't have an AM might explain why you don't think much of it...

as an I/L main, I freaking love it. If you give me a blizzard cooldown I wouldn't give a flying crap because CL is all I need, pretty much.

As a mob attack, CL's horizontal range hits so far it kills things offscreen. As a single-target attack, I hit 45-55k+ neutral damage with CL, and on lightning-weak bosses like samurai/anego, it's huge fun to hit 60-80k+, especially since you can hit consistent knockbacks with such a fast casting speed.

I do have an overpowered elewand 8 (lightning wand), so my damage is a bit skewed, but the mechanics of CL as an attack are just fantastic for anyone. It's got great telecasting capabilities, once you get used to its weird horizontal range which changes every time you level until you max it.
