Actually GMS always used to have hot times, not hot days. It was changed to hot days a couple of years ago. So GMS didn't move to hot times, more like it returned to it. As a side note, past hot times were even more cruel, you had to be on at the EXACT MINUTE specified to get the box, so a hot time where you have all the time before 2:30 is pretty good.

That may be so guys, but the thing is not everyone would be able to attend a 1 minute only event. I guess everyone forget the lag, crashes and disconnections. Also people with bad computers. Events like these aren't fair and reasonable for everybody. Plus, they did hotdays that gave insane rewards in the past. The last time i ever remember there being a hot time was during the red update when they gave out some red cubes.
I feel sorry for the poor individuals who won't be able to attend this, we also cant forget timezone issues too with some people. Not everyone who plays the game lives in America.

I've always preferred hot time, hot days we just overly abused and plus hot times used to give better things like unique pot scrolls
