Blaziken is the most practical bc blaze kick and sky uppercut = OP during the storyline. But Sceptile is way too cool to pass up.
I'd like to use Swampert, but I love Azumarill.
i will probably ditch my starter as i do in most games (depending on the availability of pokemon i like) but if i were forced i'd definitely go with mudkip bc megapert is cute and also screw the other two
I always choose sceptile in hoenn but brawly wrecks and grovyle is trash
also why isnt he a physical attacker wtf gamefreak...
also can we talk about lightning rod? They gave immunity to a 4x resistance but hey, no parahax or volt trap teams...
I've always loved Mudkip the most, and now that he's become the Bara Fish, I will love him even more.
I've always stuck with Sceptile throughout my multiple Emerald plays, although I did pick Blaziken in Ruby and Swampert in Sapphire.
Blaziken cause Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut too op. I love Swampert as well but idk I just have to always do Torchic.
i picked the water type just because of the looks tbh.
I rolled Swampert my first playthrough because I always start off with the water type. Second playthrough I ran Blaziken and loved every second of it, endless Sky Uppercuts with Breloom and him on my team. Third time through I picked up Treeko but Brawly's gym was a nightmare and Grovyle=trash. Then I realized Sceptile could learn Dragon Claw --> GG Drake.

As I've always chosen the Grass-type starters, this run'll be no different. Even though I didn't use Blaziken in my Y game, I'm not as enticed by him as much as I'm trapped by tradition.
