How to whiten teeth?

My teeth aren't the best, and my canines are alittle yellow. I brush them vigorously and it doesn't appear to be as white as my front teeth. (I'm thinking that my retainers caused this)

In any case, how do I whiten my teeth without any costly or dangerous methods?

Reflexes

-Floss
-Get a whitening toothpaste. Haven't tried Arm and Hammer, but get Colgate Total/Crest 3D white.

Dunk it in hot water (the mouthwash) for a bit, then use the gel all over your teeth (all crevases and etc) and then apply the whitening for about 10 minutes. Rinse and ta-da!
-Get a mouthwash. Crest Pro health complete (one im using currently) or the 3D White whitening one are really good!

Don't brush hard, get some whitening toothpaste, most out there work.
Colgate Optic White worked really well for my brother, my mom, and myself.

GET THIS! http://www.amazon.com/Arm-Hammer-Toothpaste-4-3-Ounce-Packaging/dp/B001E76BU6/
It works in about 2 weeks, you'll seriously see a difference. But just don't forget to brush every night and whenever you can.
P.S. The tooth paste is like 2-3 dollars.
Do you know what bleach is?
I assume he's talking about the typical household chlorine bleach.

You assume these things when people don't know that hydrogen peroxide is considered a bleach.
Dear god, don't do this.

It wears down your enamel and is toxic.

Just get a toothpaste that has hydrogen peroxide as one of its ingredients and brush regularly.
you're brushing your teeth, not jerking it. brush gently twice a day w/ toothpaste that has whitening agents (i use colgate). see your dentist regularly.

Dentists can do the procedure for about two hundred dollars.
toothpaste and a LITTLE bleach, like only a tiny amount.

Mix the bleach with a lot of water in a bowl.
When brushing your teeth, dip the toothbrush in it.
Take it out, put toothpaste on it, dip it back in for 2-3 seconds.
Start brushing, rinse with normal water.
