why wont most people stop and think?

why do most people just continue doing more and more of the same thing when they dont understand how to solve a problem? why do most not people realize that they are being destructive? why dont people notice that what they are doing is ineffective and even destroying themselves too?

why dont most people realize how LOUD OBNOXIOUS AND OFFENSIVE they are

how do you make them STOP, SHUT UP notice what they are doing and think rationally? because clearly they are blind and have a false sense of security and self-worth

it frustrates me to no end and sometimes i feel homicidal. sometimes i feel homicidal, most of the time i feel suicidal because of how pointless it seems even trying to communicate with idiots in a world that is run by idiots scrambling around and panicking because they're worried that this world is dangerously underpopulated for some reason.

im not going to perpetuate that cycle though. im going somewhere in life, and its not in a 360'' circle messing up everything in a 20 mile radius till my body eventually gives in from all the energy ive expended ACCOMPLISHING NOTHING.

there is just no way out, is there? im always sent back to square one. square one over and over again. it just never ends. day in and day out. the same day over and over again.

im sorry, i needed to have a meltdown, im feeling better now, thanks everyone

UGH I HATE MYSELF AND I HATE EVERYTHING I AM NOT OKAY

And here you are, complaining about those people on the internet. Instead of stopping and thinking, you are yelling and screaming about how you want people who disagree with you to shut up.

Maybe you should try stopping and thinking, too. Everyone gets loud, obnoxious, and offensive. You just did, and it seems like ranting on the internet helped you calm down. But hopefully it also showed you that it happens to everyone, including you, and that if you have to deal with someone going through that maybe you should give them a little bit of space.

Our brains were evolved to function primarily as a reactive organ. That is to say, that we innately react first and contemplate later.

One of the most common things you'll ever hear when learning about cognition (whether it be through a college course or some article on the internet), is the ever-popular "humans are pattern-seeking". This much is true, though people, more often than not, tend to not actually understand why. In short, it's due to natural environments themselves largely favoring reaction functions over contemplation/deep thought functions.

One can take that concept and apply it to a plethora of cognitive fallacies. Everything from the tendency to generalize at first hand all the way to specific products of generalizations (most common example being stereotypes).

The general point being: though we possess the capacity to contemplate before acting, one must understand that we, as human beings, innately react before doing so. Contemplating before acting is something which must be learned. For some cultures, that sort of concept is hardly understood.

You're imagining the impossible: perfection.
Not everyone is rational; some people are willingly ignorant. Don't worry, they'll get it sooner or later; if they don't, it'll smack them straight in the face.

Because people are really ignorant and ethnocentric (or feel superior in general). They either don't care or plainly hate people who they are on the outside.
People should reconsider their ideals and start understanding other people. Even if they don't want to understand, they should learn how to not oppress others tbh
