I would probably be hating myself for spending more money than I should of on memory because I'm not making use of it.

I'd be wondering why I wasted so much money on capacity I'll never use.
I can do more with several separate computers than with a multi-multi-multi-core single computer.
I suppose if I was curing cancer by doing genomic sequencing or generating panoramic photomosaics of the planet Mongo from data sent back by exo-planetary probes, then it might be useful.
