Best possible computer in my budget

Hey guys.
I'm needing a new computer to play maple/other games, nothing hardcore.
I have about $580 USD to spend and I was wondering if you guys have any ideas on what to get? I want something that'll be as fast and smooth as possible.

I don't care if it's a desktop or laptop but please note that I don't have a monitor so that would have to be factored into the cost if you recommend a desktop build.

thanks.

just saying "i5 processor" is not enough

but yeah in this case it's decent bang for his buck

With your current budget I recommend just getting a decent laptop.

Specs:
-i5 Processor
-6 GB RAM
-500GB Hard Drive
-Intel HD Graphics 4000

It's good enough to run simple games like Maplestory, Left 4 Dead 2, Vindictus, and CoD. It's the best option if your budget is only $580 IMO.
I live in New Zealand so it makes buying a desktop offline a whole lot more expensive. That's why I've been looking at Laptops a bit more.
And I don't care too much about replacing at this stage, I'll probably do a big upgrade in a year or so.
Are there any decent electronics retailers in NZ?

I assume shipping from sites like New Egg or Tiger Direct would cost an arm and a leg.
Would you prefer a desktop that you can replace the parts easily or no?
Ex. Easily replaceable parts- Cyberpower
Not So Easily replaceable parts- Lenovo, Hp, etc etc.
I would say getting a desktop is better since it's easier to replace and upgrade parts one by one, however you say that you don't have a screen and only have 580$.
Therefore I think you'll be better off buying a laptop. I'm pretty sure you can buy a pretty decent laptop out there that can play ms and some other not too heavy games.

You can try looking at places like NCIX or Ibuypower if you haven't already, they might have good deals once in a while.
