How to set a picture as a folders icon
So I have a folder that is a season of a TV show, and I went into its properties and into customize. I changed its supposed icon to the image I have, and clicked apply then OK but nothing changed. The folder contains 3 20 min videos if that makes any difference. But does anyone know how to set am image as a folders icon?

Change your picture file from whatever it is .png, .jpg etc to .ico using a converter (google it).
Right click folder>properties>customize>change icon>browse>pick your converted
No idea if it works, but that is how I will do it if I ever wanted to do it.
Windows 8.1. Its not bad or anything I just think it would be cool to have the did cover as the folder icon.
lm not sure if you can do that, only custom icons.
What OS do you have?
Does it bother you that much though?
