Someone tried to give me a virus and hack me

LOL so this is the first time this happened to me so I was just minding my own business on Basilmarket when suddenly my webcam turned on.
I know because the light beside my webcam turned on. I was staring at it for a bit and tried to disable it so I looked it up on Google, and then all of my browsers closed, and then like 3 popups came up saying "Your webcam has been disabled" when I didn't even do anything to disable it (how stupid do they think I am? ). So, I was gonna run an antivirus scan when I realised I didn't have one
So I went and downloaded MalwareBytes. It was downloading and the hacker tried to keep closing my browsers and stop the download. I installed it and began to run it.
Then after about a minute of him trying to close the antivirus, a chat window pops up, and here's what he said.

Him: ohHai
Me: what are you doing
Me: who are you
Me: do i know you?
Him: Just messin' around
Me: who are you
Him: I am a game master of maple story
Him: I see you have been hacking. xxxxxxxxxxx at gmail.com (<-- my email adress for my main)
Me: how did you get that
Me: you're not a GM. BYE!

Then I disabled my Wi-Fi and waited for the scan to finish. There was about 8 results, all of them were
"Backdoor.Agent.DCRSAGen". I removed them all.

Do you think that I've stopped the hacker?
I think it's because I accidentally went to a meso selling website

EDIT: LOLOLOL I just got an e-mail from Nexon. "You have requested that your account password be reset." This one seems like a really, really dumb hacker.

UMAD HACKER? UMAD?

Nobody goes into a meso selling website accidentally. You're lucky he/she didn't finish you off! Otherwise this thread would be about "How I got hacked for being dumb"
that's a creepy story... Well I have little ladybirds (there was roach design too </3 )decoration that I clip on my laptop, it can cover my webcam. You might want to get one too It's cute!
I just turn it when I'm on my desktop so that it doesn't face me when I'm not using it, or put a sticky note over it when on a laptop..

I can't even.
@NoNameAI: ...knowing someone's IP address does not confer knowledge of everything that that person is typing.

@Darthic: I did, just the other day. I forget exactly what I was googling, but a game-currency seller popped up high on the first page, and I'd tabbed the first several results before even reading the snippets. I should probably do backups anyway; I have a terrible record with laptops

@Segumisama: Easy mistake if it's a new machine.
And planet minecraft lol... But they can actually pull data. Just beware of Skype

What.
Well, I would have had one, because I installed Microsoft ForeFront Security but that gave me BlacK Screen Of Death.

Once again, if he knows ur IP then he can find ur phone number and ur street address. Seems like he's a stupid hacker tho all he did was install backdoor on ur computer.
Smart move disabling ur Internet. Anyway, be careful when changing hot password because that causes a lotta hacks. I was hacked after changing my password and it happened to my friend too. Check If that hacker knows your ip because if you change ur pw he will be able to see exactly what you typed. Also, if you still have that chat logged then pull his ip and hack him back lol
He probably does know my IP address. Luckily, that's easily changeable

How does one accidentally go to a meso selling website ?
Personal I think the hacker has all your information already.
Two options.....
1. quit your current account and start over.
2. Change your personal info on maple, but seeing your log in ID cant change they already have something to work with.
I didn't have an antivirus because I'm on a school laptop and it wouldn't let me run something so I uninstalled the school one and forgot to install another one.
