Making 600 people ragequit in Smash Bros 3ds
Basically I have some fun with Ness <3. I split it into four parts because it drags out.
The firing:

The thundering:

The rioting:

@Avatar wow i completely forgot about the e-reader cards in pokemon. they were the ex-series or something like that. i never bothered actually doing it though. i agree that nintendo shouldnt be demonized for making DLC. compared to certain games in which you basically payed them through the DLC to finish the game, MK8 and Smash Bros are finished products with the option to add extra content.
so in video 4 was the chat telling the player to quit
because he was spamming pk fire?
eh not really trolling, the only time i ragequit if inputs are seconds delay but this looks meh
I don't get it. What about this is trolling? I swear the definition of trolling gets looser everyday lol.
@bluebomber24: I'm pointing to the general trend here. Sure, they had the E-Shop to sell classic games, but lately? Mario Kart, Hyrule Warriors, now Smash...seriously, adding extra content used to be a sour spot reserved for Sony and Microsoft.
Also, not sure on this one, but weren't the DLC cups for Mario Kart already hinted at by some data found on the disk? Kinda sad knowing from the get-go they'll just glue some more content later on. Or how about making the DLC more like a free patch to the game?
DLC was mentioned in the data but nobody knew what it's was going to be. Why complain when it's cheap anyway?($12 for 6 characters 16 courses and 8 karts)

Nintendo always had things like DLC. Remember game guides? People used to buy those when I was a kid but no one does now because of the internet. Remember the e-reader? In the old pokemon games you could get additional content by purchasing cards with codes on them. Even the gold and silver games had a promotion in japan with cell phones where you could get celebi or something. The point is you shouldn't make nintendo the bad guys for trying to earn money, especially since the wiiu and 3ds weren't that big of a hit as the previous consoles.
The worst thing is when people use emulators and R4 devices and then complain about quality. Its a perpetual cycle people, you want better quality games, you have to exchange money for it. I mean look at pokemon showdown. There are so many people on that site and they wonder why the quality is dropping.
@Thiefy996: Dont play those other games. But like I said before, the Smash DLC is one char and as of now and doesn't mean much. Further, considering the plethora of stuff that is in the Wii U version of Smash, even if DLC that you had to pay for started to be churned out later for Smash, I would be okay with it, simply because the game by itself appears to more than give you you're moneys worth. That's actually the vibe that I am getting from the MK community as well, when it comes to thier dlc, most seem to love it.
If it was like Destiny where it look like they deliberately delivered an incomplete game in order to sell the rest in DLC, then I would see your point. But smash is far from that.
I don't want to distract from the thread here, but speaking of Mewtwo - is anyone else outraged by this? Sure, being able to play as Mewtwo again is nice and all, but a) he should've been in it from the beginning and b) Nintendo is really taking the piss with DLC lately. I always considered them NOT to be the type to bleed their customers out with stuff that should've been in the game beforehand.
They are still working on him which means Smash for both systems would have been postponed until spring. Which probably means Metwo was probaly never going to be in from the get go and as Sakurai has stated, be grateful your getting extra.
As for money, at this point in time, it is just one character that you don't HAVE to have. I hardly call Nintendo bleeding, especially considering what they are giving already in the game.
Too bad lucas isn't in the game . Many people prefer ness over lucas because lucas has slow smash attacks but I thought lucas had a superior move set. Here's an old video of me vs a basiler where I use the slow smash attacks to their advantage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnXKovrL_0A
Lucas was my Brawl main, though Ness was similar enough to be my 2nd main, so now he's my current main in sm4sh. I am upset about Lucas not being in sm4sh, but if they can release DLC characters like Mewtwo, then I won't give up hope.
