How is Charizard not a dragon type?
Seriously, how does GameFreak make the most dragon like pokemon in existence a fire/flying type? I guess I could understand in the first generations because getting a starter pokemon that turns into a dragon would be ridiculous. They could at least change it now..
And how is Gyrados a water/flying typee despite knowing like one flying move, looking like a dragon, and knowing several dragon moves?
Then single type starters are at an even more tight disadvantage, with dragon type charizard would take regular damage from water making the water pokemon useless.
If it was Dragon/Fire or Dragon/Flying o;
Cuz that makes sense if Dragon/Fire
Dragon/Flying would make it 1/2 damage from water attacks making the poor Squirtle family even more useless D=
Also on the Gyrados thing, Lance used one.. and he uses all dragons xD
So that would make sense.
it's because that would unbalance the starters, aside from being something they just didn't do in Gen I
What's that? Bulbasaur...kinda guy? There were only two starter options for Kanto. No one chose Bulbasaur.
I picked Bulbasaur because all of friends chose Squirtle or Charmander, so I'm the only one who could get Entei in FR/LG.

I was always a Bulbasaur kinda guy.
Because you deserve to be punished if you chose Charmander.
And a dragon is...
A magical creature that resembles a lizard with wings
Dragons have wings from the get go
Charmander and Charmeleon don't
Charizard is a failed attempt at being a dragon
Meanwhile, Reshiram is trolling Charizard.
