Gms server population
Heyo
hows the general population of the playerbase today(gms). I haven't played since the release of angelic burster. Is the population higher? lower? Worried about coming back to a dead or dying game you know

The maplestory population is decreasing not that quick but pretty slow. In 2007-2010/11 ish the first whole channel is filled up in the the FM. And in windia sometimes whole FM 2 and a bit in 3. Now you would be lucky to find fm 1 channel 2 filled. The population hit the max a little after big bang and then plummeted. (the reason why I think the game was popular back in 2006-2011)

A lot of people also sit in FM 13 and 18/22 on the more active days. In total, on an average day, we have about 9 rooms filled.
I think a lot of people quit, but the people who still play actually play more than ever. Multiple characters, main-hopping, and they afk for hours and hours.

Thats pretty good.. On weekends Renegades if lucky barely get stores on fm3.

In Bera right now, FM is filled first 3 floors. I wouldn't say the game is dead to the point where there's hardly communication, but it does seem like there are less people playing.

In terms of fact based assessments...Maple is actually doing fine, as evidenced by the info released to share holders. You're just making a semi educated guess with from a pessimistic point of view.

That's pretty cool to hear. I also understand that they offered more tools to close the gap between paid and free2play players. Is that accurate?
Sorry for the questions. Still pretty traumatized after Nexon shut down DnF. Made me fear MMO playing.

This is the slowest time of year for Maple, otherwise...in Scania, as a measure of volume, fm's 1-22 are all filled, ch2 fm1-6 is filled and a slew of fm1's upwards from that are also filled.
