I got the idea after my 11-year-old cousin got scolded by his mom. He wrote those words above. It's two years since I submitted a comic. Enjoy!

No, the son of Chief Stan is Alex. The one drawn is the Icarus guy.

EDIT: Whoops, someone already posted that!
them parents sure dont know how to say CoD MW3! (vet and n00b comes)
I remember back then when I was at a game store and this kid was saying that he wants a PS2. His mom tells him to say the full name because it sounds dumb saying the acronyms. Go figure lol.

Uhh, I think you mean Alex the runaway kid, who is indeed the son of Chief Stan of Henesys, but the child in the drawing is Icarus, so... They could be his parents, and anyway, I don't think the comic is supposed to be part of the story of MapleStory, so I really don't think it makes a difference.

OT: LOL, very nice comic, +1 like
Did anyone else think of Calvin and Hobs while reading this?
Anyway, this is so true. I know people who've cut classes to play that stupid game.

(Still doesn't see why every new game of Call of Duty is a big deal when it comes out, because it's just a copy of the next newest, just with a new weapon or 2, and a few more maps.)
I don't know the reason for why others play the game, but I play it for the story. I want to know how it ends (From Modern Warfare 1 to 2 then to 3). I probably won't buy it until much later. I still have other games to finish.
I know right...this is why i dont play FPS online, because of little kids
Most of the FPS games ive played online, its the 15-16 year olds that are the worst. Raging over every time they die and yelling every time someone else does.

does being "grounded" have something to do with cod?
This was partly inspired by my cousin's post on Facebook. He wrote those words up there after being scolded by his mom. Another inspiration was a comic where the kid was talking about how there are so many stars in the sky, how big the universe is and how insignificant they are compared to that. His dad then says, "Well, you're still grounded for keeping naked lady magazines under your bed."

and even then Chief Stan isn't even his dad. Nice try
If you try to argue the son in Kerning City is Alex the Runaway kid

Explain. Then we can discuss. Until then, you're all talk.

1. I like that pic thats hung up on the wall.
2. I've clocked like 7 hours into MW3 and I've only had it for like a day, still not grounded.
I'm more concerned that his parents let him play an adults game

you know ruins the game for the rest
As long as parents are involved with their kids life and don't substitute games for parenting, there's nothing wrong with it. Most of the kids that go and shoot people had no parental guidance whatsoever.
LOL isnt your 11 cousin wordy
We've been teasing him about it for days like "Why so serious?"
lol but what is he grounded for

Edit: like what kinds of grades did he make XD
Not sure, but I think he's doing really bad because his older brothers recently bought Uncharted 3 and MW3. He beat Uncharted 3 in 2 days and now playing MW3.
