Tell that to the millions of people who only smoke socially that it's not a social thing. Why do you think at any bar you go to there's a smoking pit outside where people go to smoke and socialize. All you're doing is showing your bias by defending alcohol's social aspect and ignoring smoking's.
Why do people drink coke? It has absolutely zero health benefits, it doesn't even hydrate you it actually dehydrates you and can lead to obesity, diabetes, rot your teeth, caffeine/sugar addiction, and a load of other health problems. Why the heck would any sane person drink soda then? Because people do, get over it.
I rather have kidney failure and get a new kidney from a donor, then die from cancer and lose a limp on the way.
Would just like to clarify one of your points,Smoking does not help you "sober up".
It reduces alcohol's affects.

You would know this if you asked anyone who drinks/smokes to be true lol. The nicotine rush and light-headedness you get from cigarettes takes away some of the nausea/dizziness/drunken feeling alcohol causes.
"New findings indicate that nicotine may actually reduce blood alcohol concentrations."
Trying to show off when I can do two sub 60's in a row.
It's something a lot of people do socially, just like drinking. Many people use it as a stress-reliever and they like the nicotine buzz. Some do it to control their appetites, some people only smoke when they're drinking because it helps to sober you up, etc. There are tons of reasons why people do it.
A lot of things in life are "nothing but bad for you" but people do them anyways. Simply put, people like it.

It's an anti-depressant, people use them because their depressed, sad, or angry. I don't see how you could see drinking as social but not say the same for smoking.

your breath is gonna be short as heck
ugh, i hate those people who think they can use their e-cigs anywhere, even INDOORS. even if it's not an actual cigarette, it's still obnoxious as hell if you use it indoors >.<
Why do you have to smoke unless you're already addicted? And tbh, you can, it's just a lot harder than running on clean lungs.
I know Im hooked but I cut back so I wanna see how far I can take myself before I kick it for good, this should add motivation when my times start to stall. My brother and I made a small bet if I can do it by Mid January tooÂ. I was expecting to get between 1:20-30 so Im optimistic now.

Post too short, like your breath is going to be.
If you care about your health or performance, you should quit. Once it's totally gone, it doesn't take long for the body to bounce back.
People always recommend the e-cig, I always say Ill try it than I never do.
So what does smoking MJ have to do with anything?
i bet u havent even drank 1 marijuana
Have you tried switching to an e-cig?
