How to fix maplestory lag because Im lagging too much
Hello everyone. I don't know if this happens to some people but sometimes when I'm about to change maps or talk to an NPC I lag for about 30 secs to a min then it goes away. Also when I do DIPQ after I kill the first boss and the mobs start coming out, I lag so much that I freeze then it ends and says fail then I get booted it out of the PQ which is so annoying.
If this happens to anyone else or did can you tell me what you did or anyway to fix this lag? I just came back to MS 4 days ago and this is so annoying. I don't know if its a my laptop because I got it a month ago. Its Intel Celeron and windows 8.1 and I'm pretty sure its not my wifi neither.
Any tips or perm solution would help.

There's really nothing much you can do if your computer is bad.
Don't worry, I have 2m~2m range and I still can't complete DIPQ either.
@mousepound yeah I got this laptop on black friday because it was cheap. I don't really play pc games but is there a way to fix or decrease the lag?
The Celeron series is pretty bad for gaming considering it's designed more for budget than for performance. If you're going to be playing games then you should at the very least get a Pentium processor or an i3.

this happens to me too, although my laptop is pretty old.
try making it the lowest quality, turn off effects, turn off sound? if that doesn't work, idk broo
I feel you man, my 2008 desktop that barely play anything can play Maplestory lag free. But on my 2011 Laptop which I can play most Mmo's fine on high settings, maple lags like crazy.
The only solution I can think of is: buy a new comp
